The Minnesota Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and the Air and Waste Management Association’s (AWMA) Upper Midwest Section are excited to announce the Landfill Operators Webinar Series beginning in May 2021.

This webinar is focused on presenting relevant information related to the safe and effective operations of solid waste facilities in compliance with all applicable regulations. We will also cover emerging issues affecting the management of these facilities.

In 2021 we will have six hours of content which will include topics like Managing Hydrogen Sulfide from Landfill Leachate, MPCA’s PFAS Blue Print, State experiences with CWD wastes, Industrial Storm Water Requirements applicable to solid waste facilities, A MN case study on managing wind turbine blades and 2 hours of content dedicated directly to landfill operations.
