COVID-19 Safety Plans
Proof of a full series of COVID-19 vaccination, or proof of a negative COVID-19 test administered by a health professional in the prior 72 hours is required for all in-person conference participants.
Proof of vaccination may include a physical card, vaccination record in the Docket app, or a photo of a complete vaccination card. Proof of a negative test may be a printed or digital test result administered by a health professional (home tests are not accepted).
New this year, we are offering a virtual attendee option. The virtual option allows attendees to watch and engage in the conference in real time from anywhere in the world.
Masks will not be required at the conference currently, but conference organizers reserve the right to implement masking regulations based on COVID-19 data at the time of the conference.

Day 1 equals 5.0 contact hours and Day 2 equals 6.0 contact hours for in-person attendees

Minnesota Department of Health
This conference has requested approval from Minnesota Department of Health to be an acceptable continuing education activity for Minnesota Registered Environmental Health Specialist / Registered Sanitarian (REHS/RS) renewal. Day 1 equals 5.0 contact hours and Day 2 equals 6.0 contact hours for in-person attendees. Day 1 equals 3.0 contact hours and Day 2 equals 6.0 contact hours for virtual attendees. Per Minnesota rule 4695.2600, the evening reception does not qualify for contact hours.
Subp. 5.Contact hour. ”Contact hour” means an instructional session of 50 consecutive minutes excluding coffee breaks, registration, meals (with or without speaker), or other social activities.
Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
This conference has received approval for 11.0 contact hours towards a MPCA Type II or Type III solid waste landfill operator recertification. Day 1 equals 5.0 contact hours and Day 2 equals 6.0 contact hours for in-person attendees. Day 1 equals 3.0 contact hours and Day 2 equals 6.0 contact hours for virtual attendees.
